Many social-economic factors combine to put a large percentage of Mexican children at risk.  Estimates of child abuse run as high as 30% here. 

As families fail, children are abandoned and/or exploited.  Many fall into drugs and other crime.  Without hope, too many try to enter the US illegally.  Girls begin to have children as early as puberty and the sad cycle continues.  Mexico has one of the youngest populations on earth.  Although there is much poverty, the greatest need is not money.  The greatest need is faithful husbands who are good fathers to their children.

Timothy House, located in the middle of the Sonora desert of Northwestern Mexico, takes in boys ages 5 to 12 who are orphans, have been found abandoned, or otherwise need a permanent home.  Our goal is not only to provide a safe, loving home, but also mentor the children to become godly men, faithful husbands, responsible fathers and productive citizens.

Children arrive with physical scars, but even more troubling are the deep emotional wounds that need healed.  The founders have dedicated this work to the Lord, because they simply can't do it themselves.  God made these children and only He can change them. 

Timothy House is a Christian home founded on and sustained by prayer and faith.  Visitors say they feel a special love upon entering Timothy House.  This without question is God's unconditional love.  The prayers of many faithful believers and supporters help make this all possible.

12 children might not seem like a significant number.  What difference could 12 men possibly make in such a lost world?  For the answer, we only need to look at the first 12 disciples who were filled with the Holy Spirit.
